What a wonderful Charity. I too am a veteran, and remember what it's was stuggling with education cost after leaving the millitary. Often times, when you leave the millitary, its like starting all over again. And although there was some aissitance via the GI Bill, etc....It did little to assist with all the additional cost one occurs seeking a higher education.....it was very difficult transistioning from a Sgt. Salary to making barely $5 an hour. So like many other veterans, I had to rely on student loans to fill the gap.....For me, my transistion from the Marine Corps to Cilvillain life happened many years ago....but I still wonder why those who risk so much should EVER have to worry about education cost at all.
