Summary:
To enable the Global Fund for Children (GFC) to distribute 17,000 books to children in areas of conflict around the world including Rwanda, Afghanistan, Uganda and Colombia. This grant was presented in conjunction with the Oprah's Book Club selection "Night" by Elie Wiesel.
GFC works to fulfill the dreams of children all over the world. The organization's primary activity is to fund grassroots organizations that serve the basic needs of vulnerable children by providing education, training and health counseling.
