Summary:
To expand the Centre for Infectious Disease Research in Zambia (CIDRZ)'s peer educator program at Chelstone Health Centre. Through CIDRZ's peer educator program, those successfully enrolled in the prevention of mother-to-child HIV transmission (PMTCT) treatment program educate, counsel and encourage new patients.
The CIDRZ supports the Zambian government in its HIV prevention and AIDS treatment programs throughout Zambia. Chelstone Health Centre is one of the sites served by the CIDRZ.
