Summary:
For a van, kitchen equipment and installation, supplies, uniforms and other expenses related to culinary training program. D.C. Central Kitchen feeds the homeless and teaches them to cook so they can get jobs in the restaurant industry and break the cycle of poverty.
Note: The Angel Network Support Foundation gave this grant. Dissolved in 2004, the purpose of the Support Foundation was to support the charitable efforts of Oprah's Angel Network.
