To purchase a van, computers and supplies to complete a new reading center. The Cops-N-Kids Reading Program started out with police officers distributing books to children while on patrol in Racine, WI. Today, it continues to distribute books and has a reading center.
Note: The Angel Network Support Foundation gave this grant. Dissolved in 2004, the purpose of the Support Foundation was to support the charitable efforts of Oprah's Angel Network.
