For general operating support for LISC Chicago and Elev8 programs. The Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) helps resident-led, community-based development organizations transform distressed communities and neighborhoods into healthy ones. The Elev8 program aims to transform the lives of students in five public middle schools in Chicago by integrating out-of-school programming with health services, social support for students and families and parent and community engagement programs.
