Oprah’s Angel Network

To educate California State University - Northridge students during the 2009/10 academic year in literacy education techniques aimed at at-risk multicultural youth. The goal of this program is to increase the number of teachers capable of providing effective early literacy instruction.

The California State University - Northridge Foundation is a nonprofit whose primary function is to further the purposes and objectives of the University by cultivating relationships, actively seeking and encouraging private gifts, philanthropic contributions and grants from alumni, friends, corporations and foundations, and providing ongoing donor stewardship.
