To renovate the building that housed the organization and its programs. The Brotherhood/Sister Sol Program provides Black and Latino youth who are surrounded by poverty, drugs, violence, racism and miseducation a supportive and resourceful program to explore their ideas, identity and future among peers with guidance from their elders.
Note: The Angel Network Support Foundation gave this grant. Dissolved in 2004, the purpose of the Support Foundation was to support the charitable efforts of Oprah's Angel Network.
